New Balance Email Event Survey
Objective: Entice consumers to stop at New Balance booths at various events to preview the latest shoe models. Additionally, survey the attendees regarding their experience.
Strategy: Create an onsite sweepstakes for attendees to enter. Ask them for their email address and the ok to send a follow up email.
Execution: Working with New Balance and their agency, we created an onsite sweepstakes that gave an iPod to one lucky winner at each event. Consumers were encouraged to complete an entry form including their email address. At the conclusion of the event, all the entries were sent to ARS. We sorted the entries and data entered those people who supplied an email and opted in to us contacting them. An event-personalized email was created and sent to the people that opted in, asking them to complete a survey. The survey asked consumers product questions as well as questions about their experience at the booth and the staff. By completing the survey, they were also entered into a drawing for an additional iPod. The client was able to monitor their field people to insure that they were doing their job with the customers. At one event, the client found that there wasn’t enough staff and people got frustrated. This allowed the client to rectify the problems and monitor the results. All the reporting was done online in real time, which allowed the client to react quicker.
